Organization is your home where all of your requests, teams, and experts live. Get in touch with us to sign up!

To create you organization you'll need the following information:

💁🏻‍♂️ The company slug is what will be the URL of your company in Back, i.e. what is after the @ in the e-mail addresses (e.g. [email protected]acme.back.ee). We will pre-generate it for you, but feel free to adjust it.

Based on our experience a short version of your company name works the best - for example, instead of Acme Rocket-Powered Products, Inc. we'd recommend using acme for the slug. 

Once your organization is setup you can go ahead with setting up your first team. 

As with your Organization, you can also pick the name and slug for the team. Again, we will pre-generate the slug for you, but we would advise to you a short, memorable slug for your teams. For example, if your team is called Office Management, we'd recommend using only office as the slug, resulting in [email protected] as the team e-mail. You can also select the team type which will help us determine some sensible defaults for you.

All teams that you create are Private by default, which means that only the team members will have access to information and request in those teams.

You can also select which Categories are available for requests in this team. If you picked a team type we've pre-selected some for you, but feel free to make your own pick.

Finally, teams would not be complete without members. As the final step you can invite your colleagues into the newly created team so that they can start collaborating on requests. Users that have not yet created their account with Back will automatically receive an invitation on their e-mail.

💁🏻‍♂️ With Back you only need to invite your colleagues that will work on resolving requests. Other employees of your company don't need to have an account to be able to submit requests.
