In case you're not around in Back, you'll receive update notifications on your channel of choice (Slack or e-mail). These notifications are complimentary to the browser notifications you might already be receiving and do not come immediately, but with a slight delay to make sure we don't spam your inbox.

How do e-mail/Slack notifications work

You will receive notifications every once in a while (2x per hour) including all the updates you have not yet seen, according to your notification settings. Each e-mail or Slack message will include a summary of everything that happened in Back and that is related to you and your team.

๐Ÿ’๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ For mentions and approval requests you'll receive an additional notification on Slack and e-mail as soon as they happen on top of being included in the regular update.

How do they look like

  • The New requests section will include requests that were newly created or reassigned to your team.

  • The Updated requests section will include all updates to requests assigned to you (replies, notes, form responses), together with new mentions and approval requests.

The notification will only include requests that you have not yet read in Back and for actions that you have not done yourself.
